Pragmatic Play makes sportsbook debut with DAZN BET

Pragmatic Play has rolled out its new Sportsbook product through DAZN BET in Spain. The launch of Pragmatic Play’s Sportsbook follows a landmark deal with DAZN BET to deliver a full-service iGaming solution, providing not only sports betting, but also player-favourite Slots, Live Casino and Virtual Sports. It marks a new chapter in product development for Pragmatic Play, as the company continues to work towards its goal of becoming the industry’s preferred supplier across all verticals.

Following the successful migration onto Pragmatic Play’s platform, DAZN BET is set to build on its record monthly active users and turnover experienced in October. Pragmatic Play’s successful Sportsbook launch means the supplier now offers five gambling verticals, following Slots, Live Casino, Bingo and Virtual Sports. Wazdan bolsters UK presence
Wazdan is rolling out its slots to even more players in the UK thanks to its latest commercial agreement with Midnite. Midnite is licenced by the Great Britain Gambling Commission for its sports betting and casino platform, which is now set to benefit from Wazdan’s leading portfolio of slots. As part of the agreement, the supplier’s games are set to be uploaded in batches of five per week.
The first instalment of games set to go live in the coming weeks include player favourites 9 Coins, 15 Coins, 12 Coins, Moon of Fortune and Hot Slot: 777 Cash Out. Carl Brincat to hand over the reins at the MGA
The Board of Governors of the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has released a statement to inform the general public that CEO, Carl Brincat will not be seeking renewal of his current contract, which expires on the 25 January 2024. Brincat said: “Leaving the MGA is a very hard decision to make. The past nine years have been a rollercoaster of experiences which contributed to the person I am today, and it has been a privilege to lead the Authority for the past 3 years. Looking back, I am proud of the work that we have done together, and of the highly motivated team that surrounds me at the Authority. I look forward to continuing to deliver our commitments over my final few months, and have no doubt that my successor will find that the fantastic team at the MGA can help him or her continue to drive improvement further. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for the Authority.” As part of the senior leadership succession plan, the Board will be issuing a public call for applications for the position of chief executive officer to cater for a smooth transition from Brincat to his successor. The chosen successor shall spend a number of weeks shadowing Brincat before commencing his or her term on 26 January 2024.
