in duda la noticia de mayor trascendencia en estos días ha sido la aprobación de proyecto de ley de regulación de apuestas deportivas por le Comisión de Asuntos Económicos del Senado Brasileño, lo cual reportamos más extensamente, por cortesía de la Agencia de Prensa del Senado.


Anteriormente, nos llegó noticia del Consejo Resolutivo de la Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego, con la autorización de permisos de operación para casinos de juego a las sociedades Dalmacia Gamming S.A. para la comuna y Región de Antofagasta; y a la Sociedad de Ríos Claros S.A. para la comuna de Talca en la Región del Maule. Por otro lado, desde México, la temida carga del ejecutivo contra las salas de apuestas y sorteos, o casinos, con un decreto presidencial que limita a 15 años el permiso para una operación de casinos. Y no solamente eso, sino que el decreto, no habrá prorrogas a los permisos ya otorgados, es decir: las salas de juego en operación, “continuarán surtiendo sus efectos hasta la conclusión de la vigencia de los permisos que originaron, sin incluir sus prórrogas”. Pero, desde Argentina llega la buena noticia que confirma la empresa KLP Emprendimientos S.A., de haber logrado sellar contrato con la cadena Hilton para el hotel en Mendoza que antes lo llevaba la cadena Intercontinental, anunciando operaciones a partir del 14 de diciembre como el Hualta Hotel Mendoza, Curio Collection by Hilton, como un hotel de siete pisos con una azotea que llama la atención, ofreciendo una fusión de alojamiento elevado, prestigiosos entornos gastronómicos y una celebración única de la herencia vitivinícola que define a la ciudad con los vinos de más arraigo en la región. ndoubtedly the most important news these days has been the approval of the bill to regulate sports betting by the Economic Affairs Committee of the Brazilian Senate, which we report more extensively below, courtesy of the


Senate Press Agency. In early November, we received news from Chile’s casino regulators about authorization of operating permits for Dalmacia Gamming S.A. for a casino in the Region of Antofagasta, and to the Sociedad de Ríos Claros S.A. for a casino in Talca, Maule Region. Bad news from Mexico, where the Executive has gone against casinos with a presidential decree that limits operation permits to 15 years. Not only that but the decree also states that permits already granted will not be extended or renewed. However, good news from Argentina confirming that KLP Emprendimientos S.A., has signed a contract with the Hilton chain for the hotel in Mendoza that was previously run by the Intercontinental chain. They announce


operations as of December 14, at the Hualta Hotel Mendoza, Curio Collection by Hilton. This


is a seven-story property with an impressive rooftop offering a fusion of elevated accommodation, prestigious dining settings and a unique celebration of the winemaking heritage that defines the city and the Mendoza province with prize winning wines in the region.
