May declared she will ask for another extension to the Brexit process – most probably 22nd May. Sorry, they say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, so instead I will now take another avenue. I will call it what many – too many to reference – people noted in the media fall-out: it is all a bit like Groundhog Day. It never fails to impress me how the remaining EU-27 are able to stand in solidarity (even in light of elections such as in Estonia with a rise in one of the parties which orientates itself “further” to the right) throughout this whole Brexit process. Let me put it in different words: you have multiple political groups in each Member State, many who disagree with each other and are in coalition. And this, 27 times. Across the Channel, the UK Conservative party cannot keep itself together.
