ycamore have always been at the forefront of modern technology. That’s why in 2014 Sycamore launched their Wi-Fi controls, making them one of the first companies to market SMART home products. It was an innovative product, but as this wasn’t a familiar product some people didn’t recognise it an essential part of a new kitchen. Now in 2018 it’s become an everyday item, as the demand for SMART controls has grown significantly. Sycamore have developed and expanded their Wi-Fi range in line with increased demand over the past 4 years. The Sycamore range is now one of the most popular, affordable lighting control systems within the KBB sector. The most convenient part of the range, is that it gives consumers various options in how they would prefer to control their lighting. The range is so affordable, you can make a different choice every time you walk into the kitchen, depending on


convenience. The 4- zone system allows the wireless control of multiple LED lighting zones, either in conjunction with each other, or independent of each other. You can use a hand held remote, a SMART device or a wireless wall mounted controller, to control and dim all the lighting in the relevant zones.


All these can be combined on one installation if required.


The Wi-Fi control device is compatible with all of their 12Vdc LED lights,, so consumers can control their cabinet lights, plinth lights, strip lighting or and other 12Vdc lighting using a smart phone or tablet, just by downloading the app. The app is a free download available from the app store or Google Play.


The Wi-Fi hub will allow consumers to control their connected lights from anywhere in the world as long as they have a 3G (or above) network or are connected to any Wi-Fi network. So, they can control their lights at home whilst at the office, or even away on holiday!


Sycamores wall mounted controller, that works in conjunction with the receivers across 4 zones, fits a single wall mounted surface box, without the need to chase wires down the wall as it is operated by a small lithium battery. Therefore, it is a neat way of taking advantage of 4 zone controls, but makes it a more traditional option than the portable control. All types of switching can be used at the same time!
