With a bold grey veining on a crisp white background, Ceralsio Statuario by CRL Stone is a ceramic surface that is simple to care for and will make a striking impression in the modern kitchen.
CRL Stone offers practicality and style W
ith kitchen worktops always visible and often in use, they can have a
big impact on the overall aesthetics of the space yet must offer a high level of durability too. The kitchen is a high traffic area, so a material that is hard wearing, as well as being waterproof and heat resistant is key. The shift in design trends towards natural
materials such as stone doesn’t lend itself to the kitchen environment. Marble and granite, for example, have a lot of visual appeal but are not hugely practical for the kitchen as they require sealing and a lot of maintenance. Quartz and ceramic offer a more suitable alternative and can be chosen to resemble natural stone while also being extremely hard-wearing and easy to maintain. Ceralsio by CRL Stone is a beautiful, hard-
wearing and versatile range of ceramic surfaces that
are totally impermeable, stain and scratch resistant, very thermally stable and highly durable. In a thickness of 12mm for worktops, the Ceralsio colour palette is diverse, with 31 colours, together with a choice of either a natural, textured or polished finish. Ceralsio tiles are available in two thicknesses –
6mm for wall cladding and 10mm for floor tiling - and includes a large format slab option of 3200 x 1600 mm ideal for kitchen islands. Equally as stylish and hard wearing is CRL
Quartz, an engineered quartz stone by CRL Stone that is scratch, heat and stain resistant. Unlike natural materials such as marble CRL Quartz never needs to be sealed and requires minimum maintenance to keep it looking as good as new. The non-porous surface makes cleaning simple, with soap and water or a mild detergent all that is needed.
Offering a versatile design solution appropriate
for any setting, CRL Quartz is available in a wide choice of colours, in thicknesses of 20mm and 30mm. As with Ceralsio, the quartz surface comes in an extra-large format slab measuring 3300 x 1650 mm, allowing for greater consistency in design over large spaces. All products are available from stock from CRL
Stone’s 110,000 sq ft Manchester warehouse, which also includes a showroom area where customers can see full slabs of all colours in the range. Free samples and product brochures are available on request, from CRL.

Pietra Grey is the latest colour to join the Ceralsio range of ceramic surfaces from CRL Stone. Its subtle white veining gives a timeless grey colour palette a distinctively individual edge while ensuring the surface will work in harmony with other popular materials, from wood to metal.
CRL Quartz from CRL Stone is scratch, heat and stain resistant, making it the ideal surface for the kitchen.
CRL Quartz by CRL Stone can be chosen to emulate the look of true marble, while being highly durable and very simple to care for. Pictured is Montana Gris, a new surface from the collection’s Renaissance range.
