Three new CLIP top BLUMOTION hinges from Blum – something for everyone

lum have recently launched their latest CLIP top BLUMTION hinges – the 155° wide angle hinge, the CRISTALLO hinge for glass and mirror fronts, and the CLIP top BLUMOTION hinge for thin doors.

The new CLIP top BLUMOTION 155° wide-angle hinge by Blum offers enhanced convenience without taking up more space, as the tried and tested soft-close BLUMOTION has been integrated into the hinge arm. This means that now even cabinets with internal pull-outs, like the popular SPACE TOWER larder solution, can use the award winning CLIP top BLUMOTION technology. The use of all the existing storage in the unit, larder or wardrobe for example, means no more wasted space, and the wide angled opening access is much more convenient. Boss and hinge arm cover caps are symmetrical so they can be used both left and right, making
assembly impressively easy. The new wide-angle hinge offers the usual advantages you’ve come to expect from Blum such as a boss drilling depth of just 11.5 mm and 3-dimensional adjustment. There is also a deactivation ability for the BLUMOTION function should that be required. Its wide opening angle and zero protrusion make it perfect for cabinets with inner pull-outs, such as SPACE TOWER.
Glass or mirror fronts? No problem! Glass or mirror fronts demand a special solution. For glass or mirror fronts you’ve got it with the elegant CLIP top BLUMOTION CRISTALLO - now with integrated soft-close BLUMOTION. What’s special is that you simply glue an adhesion plate onto the door, using the handy adhesion template and then clip the hinge onto the plate. The linear design ensures that the new hinge blends discretely into furniture such as glass display units.
Thin doors – Blum have the solution for these too.
Blum now also offers CLIP top BLUMOTION for thin fronts, allowing you to use exceptionally thin 8 to 14 mm fronts in a wide variety of materials. Once again, soft close has been integrated in the hinge arm. EXPANDO T is the name of the new fixing method that turns your ideas into reality. The innovative fixing system makes assembly easy and needs a drilling depth of just 6 mm. What sets CLIP top BLUMOTION for thin doors apart, is the EXPANDO T split dowel, which was developed especially for this purpose. Steel pull-in anchors ensure a firm hold in hard materials, while plastic jaws ensure the same firm hold in softer materials such as MDF and chipboard. This 0-protrusion hinge means it can also be used for cabinets with internal pull-out drawers.
All three hinges also come in onyx black, giving you even more scope for individualised furniture designs.
