Franke appoints marketing apprentice to full time role
Franke has appointed Max Girdwood as Marketing Support Coordinator after he successfully completed a Level 4 Marketing Executive Apprenticeship with the company.
In his full-time role, 20- year-old Max is responsible for supporting Franke’s UK marketing team on a wide range of tasks, including updating the company website, overseeing the design and development of the brand’s suite of brochures and marketing literature and managing the image library.
Max began his 18-month apprenticeship programme with Franke in 2021 where he undertook both on and off the job training overseen by apprenticeship provider The JGA Group. After successfully completing various assessments, he was awarded a CIM Certificate in Marketing before securing the role with Franke.
Jo Sargent, sales and marketing director at Franke UK says: “We’re delighted to welcome Max as a permanent addition to the marketing team. He’s been a real asset during his time as an apprentice and I’m sure he has a bright future ahead.”

Kbsa announce Russell Kane as host of 2023 Kbsa Designer Awards
T
he Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association, Kbsa has announced that multi-award winning comedian, presenter, actor, author and scriptwriter Russell Kane will host the 2023 Kbsa Designer Awards.
The 2023 Kbsa Designer Awards have been launched this month, with a deadline for entries of the 28 April, and winners being announced at the awards dinner, which will be held after the KBB Industry conference on 27th September.
Russell has two chart-topping, award-bagging podcasts: Man Baggage and BBC Radio 4’s Evil Genius. He is a regular on Channel 4, BBC, and ITV: Recent TV appearances include The Apprentice: You’re Fired, The One Show, Live at the Apollo, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show as well as regular appearances on Steph’s Packed Lunch.
He was the first ever comedian to bag the two most prestigious comedy awards on earth in the same year, for the same show: Dave’s Edinburgh Comedy Award (formerly the Perrier), and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Award, (formerly known as the Barry Award).
The KBB Industry conference takes place at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.
