irrors are more than mere functional accessories as many can be both illuminated and heated preventing the mirror surface from misting up, when shaving or applying cosmetics.
With products such as Happy D.2 Plus, Luv, the icon version of XViu, the heating is switched on and off using an icon on the operating panel, while on the other models it is connected to the light. The integrated “auto-off” function switches the heating off after an hour.
There are contactless options for which there are two operating systems: an integrated sensor ensures that the mirror with its integrated light can be operated without contact. The alternative, is a contactless control panel for the main light, ambient light, light temperature, and mirror heating available on the surface of the mirror. There are also mirrors that are compatible with the Casambi light-control app, including those in the White Tulip or Zencha range. They have a light temperature with a memory effect, mirror heating, and dim function which are simple to control via the app.

KEUCO – Light and heat with Royal Lumos K
EUCO Royal Lumos mirror cabinet, has a hinged double sided crystal mirrored door, the body of the cabinet is aluminium silver anodized and the interior rear wall is mirrored. It is available with a built-in demister for steam-free reflections, with an IP Rating 24 (Zone 3). The interior fittings have a shaver socket, two adjustable glass shelves with soft closing doors.
The cabinet is available to be used for a recessed installation, or it can be wall mounted. The fine mirror heating is hidden being placed in the centre of the door. The lighting is adjustable with light colour that ranges from 2700 kelvin (warm white) to 6500 kelvin (daylight). The lighting and heating is easy to operate as it has a key panel with capacitive touch sensor, plus an integrated extension function for the light switch.
The mirror heating: there is a 30-watt, visual display of the heat up period, the automatic switch-off kicks in after 20 minutes. The mirror illumination: the frame lighting and washbasin/shelf are lit separately. They can be switched on/off with a LED 54 watt (lifespan > 30.000 hours) and they are infinitely dimmable.
