Lani from LAUFEN combines sleek good looks with essential storage for the bathroom
F
urniture is an essential component of any bathroom. It is important that it is not only functional, but also stylish, as it is one of the main elements that shape a bathroom’s aesthetic. The French designer Toan Nguyen has taken this need into account when he created LAUFEN’s Lani collection. This collection consists of a wide range of handleless wall- hung vanity units, wall cabinets, tall cupboards and mirror cabinets that offer ample storage space, thoughtful details and a timeless aesthetic.
The Lani collection is designed to complement a range of LAUFEN’s sanitaryware collections, including Lua, also designed by Toan, as well as Kartell LAUFEN, Palace, Living City and Pro S. Consumers have the freedom to mix and match these collections to achieve their desired aesthetic and create a unique bathroom design. To further enhance the versatility of the Lani collection, it comes in a comprehensive choice of finishes. The standard palette includes Matt and Glossy White, Traffic Grey and Wild Oak, as well as three striking metallic finishes (Gold, Copper and Titanium). In addition, there is also an option of 37 matt colours ranging from Sage Green and Smokey Blue to Antique Pink and Ochre Brown. This wide selection of finishes ensures that Lani furniture can fit in with any bathroom style and colour scheme.
Lani furniture is designed with convenience and functionality in mind. The unobtrusive recessed handles, soft-close doors and drawers, and safety glass shelving ensure ease of use and safety. Thoughtful extras include matching towel holders
and compartmentalised storage within the drawers to keep everything organised.
Lani furniture is not only beautiful on the outside, but also features a striking Anthracite finish on the inside as a standard feature. This adds an extra touch of sophistication and style to the furniture and the bathroom overall. Lastly, LAUFEN is committed to sustainability and reducing its environmental footprint. The wood used in the Lani collection is sourced from Europe and is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, ensuring responsible and sustainable forestry practices. Additionally, LAUFEN uses a high percentage of recycled wood to manufacture its wood composite materials, which reduces logging and waste. At the end of the furniture’s life, its wood veneers are 100 per cent recyclable and the furniture foils can be reused to manufacture plastic pipes. By choosing Lani furniture, consumers can not only have a stylish and functional bathroom, but also contribute to a more sustainable and responsible future.
