TTA Technical Masterclass series off to a great start

TA’s new series of Technical Masterclasses has got underway this summer and is being well-supported by
attendees, who have found the content to be valuable. The first three sessions took place in July and August, covering the topics
of Tiling to Heated Floors, Tiling in Wetrooms and Large Format Tile for Internal Tiling. The confirmed Technical Masterclasses for the remainder of the
year are:
• External Tiling to Balconies, Terraces & Patios – 6th September • Large Format Tile for Internal Tiling - 20th September • Uncoupling Membranes – 5th October • Design & Construction Process for Swimming Pools - 27th October
• Tiling to Calcium Sulphate-Based (Anhydrite) Screeds - 8th November
• The Cleaning & Maintenance of Ceramic Tiles - 29th November • Internal Ceramic Tiling to Sheet & Board Substrates - 1st December
All Technical Masterclasses are held at TTA HQ, The Mount, 43
Stafford Road, Stone, Staffs. ST15 0HG. They are aimed at every level of tiler to enhance their understanding
and competence regarding the topic. Masterclasses run from 10am - 3pm and are delivered by expert instructors. Upon completion of any TTA Technical Masterclass, attendees will
receive a free copy of the relevant Technical Publication and an attendance certificate. All participants must bring their own PPE. Numbers are limited, so places are allocated on a first come first
served basis. Prices for TTA Technical Masterclasses are as follows:
• TTA Member - £70 • Non-Member - £150

Kbsa Conference open for bookings to all retailers
Belfry Hotel & Resort, West Midlands. Non-members are being invited to attend this first in person conference since 2019, which will be known as The Kitchen & Bathroom Conference 2022. With a theme of “Engaging Minds – Empowering Success”, the

conference will include the popular retailer dinner on the evening before the conference, Tuesday 27 September, which has become a firm favourite with retailers who appreciate the opportunity to network with other business owners and build relationships.. The programme for the day on 28 September will cover key topics
that impact on the successful running of a retail business. These will include coaching, social media and knowing your customer. An open panel discussion will follow after lunch on the future of retailing in the KBB sector. “We are delighted to be bringing back our face to face conference,”
says Kbsa chair Richard Hibbert. “We have opened up the conference to allow all retailers, especially
those retailers that are part of our global community to benefit from the networking and learning opportunities the conference presents.” The Kbsa designer awards dinner will be held on Wednesday
