Stannah launches Midilift PL2 – a next-generation platform lift designed for improved reliability, performance and flexibility

PL2 is a carefully re-engineered vertical platform lift solution for public and commercial environments. It provides a robust, dependable option that supports modern accessibility requirements while offering greater confidence at specification stage.
This compact screw and nut platform lift delivers a smoother, quieter ride alongside and consistent installation quality, supporting efficient servicing over its lifetime. With a highly configurable design, Midilift PL2 allows inclusive access solutions to be seamlessly integrated into a wide range of architectural schemes.
Available in a range of platform sizes, the Midilift PL2 gives specifiers increased flexibility. A choice of door styles is available, including fire-rated, panoramic and vision panel options, maximises natural light and creates a modern, open aesthetic. Every lift is supported by Stannah’s established after-sales proposition, including a two-year warranty.
Specification and aftercare have also been simplified with site-specific drawings available early in the design process and support from highly trained specialists and experienced installation teams. Open-protocol parts offer greater flexibility over long-term maintenance arrangements, alongside the option of Stannah’s planned maintenance packages.
