products

The next generation of commercial hot water and heating products is here ACV UK has released the WaterMaster Evo 2 gas-fired condensing water heater and the HeatMaster Evo 2 commercial combi boiler. Building on the success of the existing WaterMaster Evo and HeatMaster Evo, these latest models feature an integrated time clock, allowing hot water to be efficiently scheduled around building occupancy. This makes them an efficient solution for a wide range of commercial buildings. Available in six models ranging from 25-120 kW, the new

WaterMaster and HeatMaster Evo 2 deliver fast heat-up times and continuous flow rates of 473-1,754 L/h at 60 °C. Suitable for plant rooms with limited space or restricted access, models feature a compact and lightweight construction that simplifies installation. The HeatMaster Evo 2 further reduces footprint by combining space heating and domestic hot water in a single appliance. Both models also feature integrated hot water storage to easily meet peak load demands and can be cascaded to meet higher demand on larger sites. Featuring leading edge tank-in-tank technology, with both the inner tank and heat exchanger constructed from durable stainless steel, the WaterMaster and HeatMaster Evo 2 models deliver rapid hot water, excellent resistance to scaling and corrosion and are suitable for installation in both soft water and hard water regions. www.acv.com/gb

forming a subtle link between individual experience and public space. Streets and pathways become stainless-steel branches framing the built-up areas represented on translucent polycarbonate sheets. 5mm-thick, opal white Exolon UV solid

polycarbonate sheets, featuring UV protection on both sides, were used for the translucent elements of the canopy. The soft white tone enhances the sculpture’s open and airy appearance, while changing daylight conditions and viewing angles create a variety of visual effects. The project required a material that could

A tree tells the story of Berlin-Wedding

The Mapquilt Tree, an art project by Stephanie Imbeau, features solid polycarbonate sheets from Exolon Group. Installed at a school in Berlin-Wedding, the sculpture is a new addition to the city’s public art landscape. The Mapquilt Tree reflects the urban structure of Berlin’s Wedding district,

reimagining it as a stylised tree canopy. Inspired by the concept of a quilt, the design brings together numerous individual sections to create a coherent whole. The choice of materials also creates a deliberate connection to everyday urban life: stainless steel and polycarbonate are familiar elements of the built environment,

be machined precisely and formed into the shapes specified by the design. At the same time, it needed to be suitable for long-term outdoor use. Artist Stephanie Imbeau was

particularly impressed by the material’s ease of processing, visual quality and thermoforming capabilities. These properties made it possible to shape the individual elements of the canopy in line with the cartographic design and integrate them into the stainless-steel structure while preserving the textile-inspired character of the original concept. www.exolongroup.com
