Heat pump meets heating and hot water demands


The EasyPell High Temperature R290 air source heat pump, introduced by Organic Energy Heat Pumps, is designed to manage both heating and domestic hot water from a single system. Key features include


compatibility with a wide range of heat emitters, such as radiators and underfloor heating, and a high efficiency that supports its use under the government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme, which offers financial incentives for replacing fossil fuel boilers. The EasyPell system supports


future integration with other technologies through its cascade and hybrid functions. It can also work in conjunction with photovoltaic (PV) systems for enhanced energy efficiency and has a Smart Grid function for optimised electricity use.


Zone flexibility It benefits from low noise


levels, with an output of less than 50dB, thanks to features like a double insulated compressor and a smart fan design. It includes an independent thermostat and outside temperature control for consistent heating. Users can monitor the system’s


performance and historical energy consumption through a dedicated app. Organic Energy provides installation training and support to

Treating demineralised water systems


SpiroPure from Spirotech is designed for demineralised water in heating and cooling systems. SpiroPure improves water quality by removing unwanted substances, such as calcium, magnesium ions and salts. This is achieved thanks to the resin beads, found at the heart of the SpiroPure solution. These resins comprise


positively and negatively charged beads, which attract the unwanted positive and negative ions in the water, and exchange them with useful and safe ions. The resin beads will change colour over time as they become depleted and replacement resin beads are available.


Improved pumped


pressurisation units

Swedish based hydronics solutions specialist, ESBE has introduced new high specification Series GMB600 distribution units for managing zoned heating. The ‘Flexbox’ offers UK installers greater efficiency as well as flexibility when installing boilers or renewable heating systems, in both domestic and commercial premises where there are two or three heating zones. The compact boxes can be surface mounted or


recessed into a wall, for which a blanking strip is available. When mounted inside the wall a cover strip is available as an option to cover the transition between the box and the wall or other substrate, while the design of the air vent valve allows for 360° orientation. Intended for DN20 compatibility, there are two incoming connection ports (left and right) on the supply side, though one is plugged to avoid unnecessary piping. The proportions of the Flexbox also allow for either uninsulated GxA394 or insulated GxA311 circulation units to be installed, along with shut off valves.
