Aluminium multilayer pipework
Henco provides sustainable underfl oor and wall heating systems engineered for eff ective heat distribution across residential, commercial and industrial spaces. By employing advanced pipe networks embedded in fl oors or walls, these systems deliver even warmth, eliminating cold spots and drafts. The robust ALU ML pipes used in Henco’s products are lightweight and detectable after installation, ensuring compatibility with energy-effi cient heating solutions like heat pumps and solar panels. These heating systems are highly versatile, allowing for customisation
to accommodate various building layouts. They are suitable for both new constructions and retrofi t projects, ensuring seamless integration into existing structures. Henco’s intelligent control solutions enable precise temperature regulation, allowing users to manage individual heating zones to optimise energy consumption. In addition to product off erings, Henco provides extensive support,
including technical advice, detailed scale plans for installation, and access to connected installation partners who facilitate the process. The underfl oor heating solutions are marketed as more hygienic alternatives to traditional heating methods, as they prevent dust accumulation and reduce allergen circulation. ◼

Electric ranges cover all the bases
A comprehensive range of advanced electric underfl oor heating products are available from Watts Technology, including TapeMat, WarmWire, and HeatMatrix, designed to provide comfort, convenience and reliability for both new construction and retrofi t projects. TapeMat features an open-weave design for
easy, one-step mortar installation, allowing it to be tailored to fi t any fl oor plan. WarmWire off ers the fl exibility to adapt to various fl oor layouts at a cost-eff ective price, and is suited for use under tile or stone in wet applications. The HeatMatrix uncoupling membrane enables
fast and easy installation of WarmWire, with the ability to simply press the wire into the pre-formed channels at the desired spacing. This system also protects tile and stone from cracking by providing a stress control layer that isolates the surface from subfl oor movement. ◼

Stainless steel solution
The corrugated stainless steel piped system from Floorflex is said to offer better efficiency and effectiveness compared to traditional systems, while also delivering faster installation times. Unlike traditional plastic or MLCP piped systems, Floorflex pipes are laid at wider intervals (30 cm, as opposed to the typical 10-15 cm centres), resulting in less piping and material use. The Floorflex system is said to provide ‘superior’
thermal conductivity, which means it heats up faster and more evenly. This enables reduced energy consumption and improved heating performance in both residential and commercial settings. The system also requires up to 75% less piping than conventional methods, making it a cost effective choice. ◼

A few words from Chris
“25 years is a milestone for any UK family-owned and run business. I’d personally like to thank PHAM readers for choosing us time and time again to design and supply UFH systems for your projects.
“In that time we’ve been at the forefront of innovation. With super- flexible pipes, overfloor systems, structural floor systems, and the latest app-controlled thermostats, bringing you the highest quality and reliability for your customers.
“It’s not all about being the cheapest, we aren’t and never will be, but the lifetime support, and one point of contact, coupled with massive stocks (so you know you’ll get kit on-site on-time), is the reason we are chosen by you time and time again.
“From my awesome team and myself, thank you for your support and here’s to another 25 years.”
