Flexible air source heat pump option
Available in left or right-handed versions, the Juniper HP Plus from Modutherm integrates an air source heat pump with a stainless steel cylinder for effi cient hot water production. The product is said to represent an ideal solution for electric-only residential or light commercial projects. For larger properties, or where there’s a need for additional domestic hot water, multiple Juniper HP Plus water heaters can be installed in parallel. The fl oor-standing unit uses R290 refrigerant and is
available in 200- and 300-litre capacities with handed front/side-mounted water connections to facilitate straightforward integration with pipework affi xed to an adjacent wall, ensuring symmetry in pipework. Under standard test conditions, the water heater can
achieve a CoP of up to 3.80, while advanced software means that it will automatically calculate and analyse its current operating conditions and then adjust the power input to achieve an optimal CoP. Paul Longman, national specifi cations manager
at Modutherm, comments: “As developers and housebuilders integrate renewables into their apartment and multi-dwelling projects, they’re looking for exceptional value for money – and the Juniper HP Plus delivers just that. It’s the perfect choice for residential and light commercial applications, as well as being simple to install and operate.” ◼
