Copper tube company unveils expansion plans


Copper tubing specialist Lawton Tubes has unveiled plans for a new £20m facility that will see the creation of a 120,000ft2


, two-storey facility

Two new display vans are joining Grant UK’s fl eet this spring and will be heading out on a nationwide Aerona 290 Roadshow. The Association of Electrical and Mechanical Trades (AEMT) has launched its fi rst Codes of Practice as it celebrates its 80th anniversary. Aimed at supporting members in delivering high-quality electromechanical repair services, the codes reassure customers that AEMT members adhere to industry standards. The overarching code sets benchmarks for


quality, expertise, integrity, sustainability, stability


and safety, with formal


implementation slated for late 2025. Member organisations not meeting these standards will be classifi ed as ‘Working Towards’ and can access AEMT resources for improvement, while compliant members can self-assess their status.
