Ridgeline off ers a fl exible stainless steel plumbing system designed for drinking water installations. It is said to improve installation effi ciency, as it can be installed up to three times faster than PEX and ten times faster than copper. The fl exibility of Ridgeline allows for tighter bends without kinking, removing the need for additional elbow fi ttings and simplifying complex installations. The system reduces the number of fi ttings required,
minimising potential leak points, which enhances long-term reliability. Ridgeline is compatible with standard EN1254 compression fi ttings and incorporates RidgeLock technology for secure connections that do not require specialised tools. Installers can achieve a reliable mechanical connection by simply replacing the olive with a sealing ring. From a sustainability perspective, Ridgeline claims
a lower environmental impact, featuring one-sixth the carbon footprint of copper piping and 50% lower embodied carbon compared to PEX systems. The tubing is made from over 80% recycled marine-grade stainless steel and is fully recyclable at the end of its life. The use of 316L stainless steel reduces contact with plastic, ensuring better water quality. Independent testing has shown its corrosion resistance in UK water conditions ◼
