ducation has been transformed by the digital revolution. Te learning landscape has exploded with instant


access to the entirety of the world’s collective knowledge, engaging with fellow students wherever they may be, and allowing for innovative teaching across every subject. However, the flip side has been a rise in threats and challenges, and keeping our students safe online whether they are in the classroom or at home. In 2022, 78% of schools experienced a cybersecurity incident, so it’s clear they are not immune from the cyber-attacks that businesses face, even if the potential for ransomware rewards is not as obviously lucrative. While much is said about the skills gap


in business, that challenge is even greater in education – slashed budgets, outdated equipment and a severe lack of knowledge and

skills that oſten leads to the most enthusiastic teacher taking the digital lead where no specialist is available. So how can we support our schools to keep our kids safe?
