THE DEI JOURNEY CONTINUES
PCR chats to Manpreet Bath at Exertis to find out more about the strides the company is continuing to take in its DEI journey, both internally as well as how its learnings are affecting others in the industry.
Can you tell us about your role as EMEA DEI Lead at DCC Technology? It’s really interesting because this is a brand-new role. In my most recent role before this one, I had been thinking about what I wanted to do next in the industry, and I’d been reflecting on how much change we’d been making as an organisation to our DEI journey. Rather than sitting back and watching it unfold, I wanted to continue driving our progress forward, and be part of the decisions being made. Tis new role of EMEA DEI Lead at DCC Technology, in addition to Kim Lonas’s previous DEI role which now focuses on our North America businesses, shows the business’s dedication to

diversity and the strides we’d already made, but also highlights the fact that we’re aware that each element of our business has a different DEI journey across geographical landscapes. Tim Griffin, CEO of Exertis IT, and Clive Fitzharris, CEO of DCC Technology, are also fully committed to this and it’s great to have their investment and dedication to our collective progress.
How much are you still involved in your role as chair of Exertis’s Ethnicity ERG (Employee Resource Group)?
My DEI journey began when I applied to chair the Ethnicity ERG at Exertis. I remember the call with the executive sponsors at the time,
