The new rules of work

ybrid working has moved from pandemic necessity to mainstream. The Lords’ Home-based Working Committee reports that by mid-2025, 13% of the UK workforce was fully

remote and 26% hybrid, placing the country among the world’s highest adopters of home working. This trend is affecting every corner of the modern workplace and, crucially, redefining where the channel creates value.

Across the desk, the monitor has quietly become the anchor of hybrid productivity. With

workers expecting single-cable simplicity, procurement decisions now hinge on docking behaviour, power delivery and KVM performance. Within these pages, AOC’s Paul Butler argues that resellers win not by chasing margin but by guiding customers through those choices. Print, too, has evolved. No longer a standalone function, it now underpins secure, compliant and flexible workflows. Canon’s Stuart Miller says partners are central to protecting data, strengthening resilience and keeping hybrid operations running smoothly.

Networking demands the same recalibration. Distributed teams need enterprise-grade

visibility and security, and D-Link’s Phil Huang outlines how SMEs are closing that gap. Sustainability is also reshaping workplace design, with Hannspree’s Martin Kent seeing rising demand for greener, more efficient displays. Collaboration has become essential as offices shift towards dynamic, mixed-presence spaces, and TD Synnex Maverick’s Mark Glasspool believes every reseller can tap into the expanding opportunity around video-enabled work. Trust’s Mark Moniz points to evolving working patterns across Europe as a catalyst for new product development.

MSPs face their own pressures. AI-driven attacks are accelerating, yet SME customers remain

under-protected. Passpack’s Chris Skipworth highlights the everyday credential habits exposing clients to avoidable risk, while SecurEnvoy’s Michael Downs argues that MFA still has untapped potential. TeamViewer’s Greg Gyves explores the operational tensions that come with growth, Pulsant’s Steve Spittal examines the global memory crunch squeezing upgrade cycles, and Pax8’s Phylip Morgan sets out how smaller MSPs can sharpen efficiency without upheaval.

This issue also features BT’s Sarwar Khan on sustainability and AMD’s Anjana Srinivasan on

partner engagement and AI-driven infrastructure, rounding out a picture of a channel adapting rapidly to a transformed world of work.

I hope you find this issue informative and interesting.
