Bitdefender Bitdefender has appointed veteran cybersecurity executive Frank Koelmel as chief revenue officer for its Business Solutions Group, strengthening its global go-to-market leadership as demand for advanced security platforms continues to rise.
Koelmel, who has more than 30 years’ experience scaling
multinational cybersecurity and soſtware organisations, will oversee global business development and revenue strategy. His remit includes unifying sales, marketing and customer success functions to improve execution and support organisations facing growing pressures around cyber risk, operational complexity and digital sovereignty. He said organisations are being forced to manage expanding threat
surfaces while navigating evolving data governance requirements, adding that Bitdefender’s technology stack is positioned to help reduce risk and improve resilience as AI accelerates both attacks and defensive workloads. Koelmel previously served as CRO at Logpoint (now Guardsix)
and held senior leadership roles at Cybereason, Palo Alto Networks and FireEye, where he focused on building high-performing sales teams and partner ecosystems across global markets. Bitdefender said the appointment comes at a critical moment as AI-driven threats reshape enterprise security priorities.
Brother UK Brother UK has appointed Mike Brown as Business Manager – Specialist Print, adding further experience to its channel sales team as the company looks to grow its partner network across the UK.
Brown has worked in the print and document solutions sector
for more than 30 years, holding roles at Ikon Office Solutions, Altodigital, Konica Minolta and Ricoh UK. His background spans both vendor and reseller organisations, giving him long experience of how partners operate and what support they need. In his new role, Brown will focus on bringing new resellers
and dealers into the Brother UK network. He will also work on developing a pipeline of opportunities and supporting partners that want to expand into print, labelling and managed print services. Brown said he was drawn to the role because of Brother UK’s
straightforward approach to working with partners. He added that his priority is to build new relationships and help existing partners re-engage with the company’s offering. Since joining, Brown has started initiatives such as ‘Meet the
MD’ events, which introduce prospective partners to Brother UK’s leadership team and give insight into its channel strategy.
