strange thing started to happen during the Covid pandemic. As people worked at home more, they started to make use
of products and technologies that they had not had access to in the office. Larger displays, mice and keyboards that they liked better than the ones they were given at work. As time went by, they started to use their
own peripherals and add-ons as well – cameras, headphones, speakers, and microphones, which gave them a better experience on conference calls. Faster routers for broadband and WiFi
connections, and 5G devices and range extenders that would allow them to work in a different part of the house, or the garden. Some also started to make use of different apps and tools than those provided by their employer to enhance their own productivity and digital protection. Tey also learned how to arrange their
workspace in such a way that the light, the temperature, and the position of their seat were just right. Some even used smart tech and voice activation to control their home environment.
