Sector Guide TD Synnex launches Cloud Insights for UK Microsoft CSP partners

TD SYNNEX has introduced Cloud Insights, a new data driven platform giving Microsoft CSP partners in the UK full visibility of customer Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, helping them identify licensing gaps, strengthen security posture, and drive more strategic customer conversations. Built for partner workflows, Cloud Insights converts detailed licence and usage data into executive level reporting that supports renewals, forecasting, budget governance, and cloud financial management. The platform also enables data led adoption of security and Copilot workloads, helping partners deliver higher value, outcome focused services. All data is securely stored within TD Synnex systems and not shared with third parties. The tool aligns with Microsoft’s

StorMagic and HiveRadar announce partnership on mobile edge infrastructure

STORMAGIC has entered into a partnership with HiveRadar to develop an integrated edge computing platform aimed at organisations operating in remote, mobile or off grid environments.

The collaboration combines StorMagic’s SvHCI virtualisation and storage software with HiveRadar’s Portable Edge Data Center (P EDC), a ruggedised hardware unit designed for rapid deployment in dispersed or hard to reach locations. According to both companies, the joint system is intended to provide secure, resilient compute and storage capabilities without the footprint or complexity of traditional datacentre installations.

Use cases cited by the firms include disaster response, defence operations, mobile command centres, remote media production and distributed retail sites. Key features highlighted in the joint offering include data at

rest encryption, VM import for migrating existing workloads, caching to support performance in constrained environments, embedded telemetry and witness for real time health monitoring and split brain prevention, low latency compute and storage for field operations, off grid capability for disconnected sites, travel ready form factor for rapid redeployment, and secure connectivity via a Mako PCI DSS compliant 5G gateway with support for LEO satellite terminals.

priorities around adoption, value realisation, and long term customer success. Darren Dixon, business unit director – business applications, Advanced Solutions, UK and Ireland, said Cloud Insights brings “cost transparency, usage accountability, and forward looking financial insight into the heart of cloud decision making,” enabling customers to rebalance spend and invest in strategic initiatives, including partner led services and AI adoption.

TD Synnex will run a series of webinars to show partners how to use Cloud

Insights to uncover opportunities across Microsoft 365 and Azure estates. The platform is available now to TD Synnex Microsoft CSP partners in the UK on a subscription basis.

Proofpoint introduces intent based AI security platform and agent integrity framework

PROOFPOINT has launched a new AI security platform designed to monitor and govern the behaviour of autonomous AI agents in enterprise environments. The announcement follows its acquisition of Acuvity and introduces a structured framework for assessing and enforcing how AI agents operate. The new Proofpoint AI Security platform applies intent based verification to determine whether an AI agent’s actions match the user’s original request and organisational policy. The system analyses prompts, responses, and tool calls across endpoints, browsers, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) connections, offering visibility into sanctioned and unsanctioned AI tools and enabling real time policy enforcement.

The company also unveiled the Agent Integrity Framework, which defines expected operational boundaries for AI agents and provides a five phase maturity model for implementation, from discovery to runtime controls. The framework outlines five core requirements: intent alignment, identity and attribution, behavioural consistency, auditability, and operational transparency. Proofpoint says the launch responds to emerging risks as organisations adopt autonomous agents capable of executing multi step actions at speed. Acuvity research cited by the company reports that most organisations lack mature AI governance, and many expect AI related data loss within a year.
