Acer expands connectivity product lineup
ACER has introduced four new networking devices aimed at expanding access to Wi-Fi 7 and 5G connectivity across home, gaming, and mobile environments. The lineup includes the Predator Connect X7S 5G CPE, the Acer Connect Ovia T360 and T520 Wi-Fi 7 mesh routers, and the Acer Connect M4D 5G Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. The Predator Connect X7S 5G CPE combines 5G downlink speeds up to 4.67 Gbps with tri-band Wi-Fi 7 across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. It supports Multi-Link Operation to stabilise throughput when multiple devices are active and includes Hybrid QoS with Intel Killer compatibility for traffic prioritisation. The unit can operate on 5G or 4G LTE via Nano-SIM and offers a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet WAN as a backup connection. For whole-home coverage, the Acer Connect Ovia T360
provides dual-band Wi-Fi 7 with an estimated 90 m² coverage per node, while the tri-band Ovia T520 adds 6 GHz support and extends coverage to approximately 110 m². Both models support mesh expansion, wired backhaul, and Wi-Fi 7 features such as MLO. The Acer Connect M4D 5G Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot supports up to 16 devices over
dual-band Wi-Fi 6, offers up to 15 hours of battery life, and includes Nano-SIM, eSIM, and Virtual SIM support. A docking station enables use as a compact router with LAN connectivity. All devices integrate with the Acer Connect app for setup, monitoring, and security management.
