Tweed Valley, and why its latest collection is designed to help women enjoy the outdoors on their own terms.

What was the inspiration behind starting FINDRA? FINDRA was born from frustration, if I’m honest. The lightbulb moment came while I was standing in my local trail centre shop back in 2012. I had started mountain biking a few months earlier and absolutely loved it. Living in the Tweed Valley, with trails right on my doorstep, it felt wrong not to. At that stage, mountain biking was still a relatively new hobby for me, but the more

time I spent on the trails, the more I fell in love with it and the incredible community of women I found there. Every Saturday morning, I’d be out riding with women of all ages and stages of life. We were there to enjoy being outdoors, challenge ourselves, laugh together and support one another. It was fun, invigorating and simply a great way to spend time outside. As I looked around the retail section, it became immediately obvious that around 90% of what was on offer was for men.
