Phil Woodward, UK Sales Manager, KTM Bikes UK
KTM BIKE INDUSTRIES UK has appointed Phil Woodward as UK Sales Manager, as the brand continues to build out its UK dealer network and retail partnerships. Woodward joins with almost 20 years’ experience in the UK cycling trade, having held senior sales, Key Account Manager and National Account Manager roles at Raleigh and, most recently, TVS E Bike Company. Woodward will support KTM’s UK relaunch and expanding dealer network, develop new retail partnerships, and drive growth for the brand.

BOYD CYCLING has appointed cycling industry veteran Christopher Zigmont to its executive team as Chief Growth Officer. Zigmont fills the new role to drive the brand’s omnichannel growth plans.
South Carolina-based Boyd Cycling,
makers of hand-built performance bicycle wheels, is experiencing growth across its business on the heels of recent product introductions and key back-of-the-house improvements. The executive team expansion is planned to sharpen strategies for continued growth across channels. “I’ve spent about half of my career marketing global wheel brands, and I’m excited to bring all I’ve learned to bear with Boyd Cycling,” commented Zigmont.●
Pete Bonfield OBE, British Cycling, Chief Executive
BRITISH CYCLING has appointed Professor Pete Bonfield OBE as its new Chief Executive. Pete will join the organisation in mid-November from the University of Westminster, where he has served as Vice-Chancellor and President since 2018. Pete has led major organisations
and programmes, advised government through several independent reviews, and held senior board and leadership positions across national and international organisations. He has served as President of both the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, been a Non-Executive Board Member within UK Government, and former Senior Independent Director of ukactive.●
