EVENTS EVENTS 2023
BikeBiz takes a look at some of the events still to come this year
OUTDOOR TRADE SHOW The Outdoor Trade Show will be hosted at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool from June 13-15. Organisers are now accepting booking requests from new exhibitors wishing to be part of the outdoor sports trade show. As it moves into its 17th year, OTS aims to provide a
cost-effective platform for the UK outdoor trade. For 2023, the show will occupy all three halls at the exhibition centre.
NATIONAL CYCLING SHOW Returning for its second year, the National Cycling Show will take place at the NEC in Birmingham from June 17-18. The retail-focused show aims to offer consumers the opportunity to buy everything from bikes to accessories, and to attract new audiences. With famous speakers and cycling performances, the show hopes to be an exciting arena experience for shoppers.
EUROBIKE Eurobike’s 2023 event will be taking place from June 21-25 in Frankfurt. The show has announced that it will offer the option to book a booth for the first three days of the 2023 trade fair, in addition to the previously provided indoor and outdoor area arrangements. From 21-23

June, the companies will focus on the B2B dialogue with international industry and product management contacts. They will settle in Hall 9 with its four floors and direct accessibility via the Galleria entrance.
IAA MOBILITY The next IAA Mobility will be held in Munich from September 5-10 2023. The following steps will be implemented to align the 2023 concept with the feedback from the industry: there will be no separate halls for cycling brands, rather one big mobility cluster. There will be a mix of mobility segments (both on the trade fair ground and the inner city Open Spaces) meaning that cycling brands will be located directly next to automotive and other mobility brands. Pre-built booths are no longer obligatory, yet still available. Individual booth construction will be possible. The main focus will remain on complete bike brands, but in 2023 more parts and accessories players will also be exhibiting.
SEA OTTER EUROPE & EURO MOBILITY FESTIVAL Taking place in Girona, Spain, the 2023 European wing of Sea Otter takes place from September 23-24, and aims to bring together the cycling and mobility worlds. Featuring mass participation events, professional races, an expo zone, and demo bike testing, Sea Otter Europe welcomes up to 60,000 visitors during the weekend, with 240 international brands involved. Sea Otter Europe, also offers a wide-ranging and diverse programme of cycling events of all types and for all levels: from the UCI eMTB World Cup to the cycle tourism road race, the Ciclobrava, the gravel races, the children’s races, the Shimano Super Cup Massi and the Scott Marathon, among others.
