Santini parts with distributor ZyroFisher, will operate own distribution in UK
SANTINI Cycling is to operate UK distribution through its own company UK Santini Ltd, supplying all the Santini collections directly to selected UK retailers. Santini will part ways with distributor ZyroFisher after more than 20 years of partnership. Monica Santini, CEO of Santini Cycling, said: “We are
extremely grateful of the work and dedication that ZyroFisher and all its people have put into distributing Santini in the UK. We have worked well together for a long time. “We have now mutually agreed to run the distribution in the UK through the company we established four years ago.
Magura Bosch Parts & Services strengthens UK presence and introduces new sales representative
MAGURA Bosch Parts & Services has strengthened its presence in the UK and introduced a new sales representative. With approximately 440 square metres, the new location in Normanton on Soar in the greater Nottingham-Leicester area offers more than 200% more storage space than the previous site. In addition to the new location, MBPS recruited a new
sales representative for the UK north sales area. Jonathan Blount took over the management of the specialist trade in Tony Barton’s former area at the end of October.●

Specialized announces decision to lay off 8% of staff
SPECIALIZED has announced its decision to lay off 8% of its staff.
A Specialized statement said: “Over the last three years, the industry has changed at an incredible pace and shown that cycling is more powerful than ever. It’s clear the time has come for transformation and shifts for the future. “[Last month], Specialized made the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to 8% of team-mates around the world. With the global economy changing faster than anticipated and rapid changes within cycling, the organisation adjustment will allow the brand to be adaptive whilst still investing in innovation.”●
Hargroves Cycles now part of Pedal Group, will start trading
under 99 Bikes HARGROVES Cycles has announced that it has undergone a change of ownership and is now part of Pedal Group. The retailer, which recently won Omnichannel Retailer of the
Year at the BikeBiz Awards 2022 in association with ArmaUrto, will change names and start trading under the name 99 Bikes.
