PEDDLE. ELECTRIC BIKES. MADE SIMPLE. E
very bicycle shop wants to see more cyclists, new cyclists, but how do we get new customers into your shop and out on bikes?
Adding a coffee shop, and offering service and credit helps, but we do not all have that space and level of investment. New cyclists do not read bike mags or join cycling clubs, they are “bike-phobic” and don’t know the difference between a Shimano and a Shamu. Traditional bike brands only advertise to cyclists, we should reach out to more people; couples, and groups, we need to get photographers, golfers, twitchers, and ramblers onto bikes, to enjoy the journey not just the destination and to use a bicycle to meet friends and visit their local castle tearoom, have you talked to the local WI, Lions Club or Round Table. Do new cyclists think they are unfit or too old, we know an
e-bike is their answer, or two e-bikes one for each of them, and their friend groups or family, just word of mouth is all we need, let’s start a revolution, it’s a guaranteed smile, get them on an e-bike and they’ll love it. The UK e-bike adoption is low compared to Europe, is our population all fitter than Thor on a fixie? Here lies an opportunity, new cyclists want an e-bike. You don’t have department stores with e-bikes on every high street, we need local bicycle retailers to get new cyclists, cycling. A lot of new cyclists will research the web as they feel uncomfortable in a shop, how do these customers get their

bikes home once set up and ready to ride, do they all have estate cars, I cannot get my built bike into my VW golf, we need a solution for them, locally. So, what’s the answer, in addition to offering premium brands, great coffee and great service?
How about a new UK brand that designed their bikes here, had them independently EN15194 tested to alleviate customer battery concerns (yes, I said it) and then 98% built them and supplied two chargers? (that might promote usage) They only come in one colour; the colour that research showed appeals to the widest demographic. (and less stock for you to hold) Peddle electric bikes are designed with features that make them perfect for whichever adventure they embark on,
from a low step-through frame for easy access to a compact commuter. The entire range comes with foldable pedals for easy storage, real gel saddles and seat suspension for comfort, and an accessory bundle with Yale lock, BikeRegister, Pump and more worth up to £150. Peddle gives your new cyclist the confidence to take control of their lifestyle, whether they’re getting back into fitness, trying to improve their mental and physical well-being, want another hobby to share with family and friends or just need a planet-friendly more enjoyable way to get to work. Peddle is not a bicycle brand, we are your all-you-need-in- the-box solution for your new cyclist.
