Cybake appoints Ali Lyons as new MD


Ali Lyons has been appointed as managing director of bakery ERP software provider Cybake. She replaces Jane Tyler, who founded the company


in 1998 and remains as a director and the company’s majority shareholder. Ali Lyons was previously Cybake’s retail partnerships


director, working with some of the company’s largest clients, a role which she will continue. Before joining Cybake in July, 2024, Ali headed up food


to go and café divisions at both Marks and Spencer and Morrisons Supermarkets. Starting out in store management, she first followed a


17-year career path at M&S. This included various head office roles with a focus on hospitality which included leading M&S Cafés. Ali then spent four years at Morrisons where she joined


as part of the senior leadership team with responsibility for the supermarket chain’s cafes, staff rooms, coffee and food to go concepts. Commenting on the new board appointment, Cybake’s


founder Jane Tyler says: “Ali has a wealth of leadership experience following over 20 years working for both M&S and Morrisons supermarkets in the UK across a variety
