Walker’s shortbread awarded royal warrant by King Charles III


Walker’s Shortbread, the family-run bakery based in Aberlour, Scotland, has been awarded a prestigious Royal Warrant of Appointment from His Majesty King Charles III for the supply of shortbread and oatcakes to the Royal Household. The announcement marks a historic moment for the 126-year-old company, which has been synonymous with traditional Scottish baking. Nicky Walker, Managing Director at Walker’s, expressed the family’s pride and gratitude: “It is a privilege for Walker’s to be granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment from His Majesty King Charles III. As an independent, family-run business, we are extremely proud to carry the Royal Warrant, which is a great honour and a true mark of recognition for our service and commitment to baking ‘Scotland at its finest’ for over a century.” The achievement holds special significance for
