As seen from Tables 1 and 2,
some modules require +5.00V and/ or +6.26V power supplies. In this project to obtain these voltages from a +12V or +24V power supply, low- cost, adjustable LM2596 step-down voltage regulator modules are used. Figure 4a shows the diagram of the
voltage regulator module consisting of three adjustable LM2596 step- down voltage regulators, whereas Figure 4b shows the voltage regulator module. By using this voltage regulator
module, three independent voltage values can be adjusted and used. D1 is used to make sure that the polarity of the DC input voltage is correct. Switches S1, S2 and S3 (implemented by using jumpers) are used to turn on or off the adjustable LM2596 voltage regulators 1, 2 and 3, respectively.
