Elsewhere, cooking is at the very core of the Bertazzoni brand – it is traditionally known for its range cookers, however in recent years its built-in ovens have also become well known for providing luxury Italian engineering and design. The company only produces multifunction

Indesit launched its range of Push&Go induction hobs that boast automatic functions and a DualZone. To meet the needs of a wide range of family types, cooking requirements and kitchen sizes, the hobs are available in widths of 600 and 770mm. Of course with cooking comes extraction,


and as Pando’s Mr Iturbe explains, extractor hoods – both custom designed and from a large established range – are an area of expertise for the company. “Pando hoods are quiet in operation, they offer

its latest collection of ovens, including a new pyrolytic model and it has a new induction hob with extraction, cleverly designed so that a drawer can still be fitted beneath.


“The integration of a laundry appliance is always welcome where space


in the kitchen is limited,” he says, “and especially when the ground floor living space is all-in-one. This brand new integrated washing machine and washer dryer allow consumers to complete larger loads of laundry, within the same standard footprint, while maintaining a stylish kitchen or utility room as the appliances are concealed.” At Hoover, the integrated H-WASH 300 PRO (below) has recently been


introduced to its laundry range. The brand says these new washing machines are the only models currently in the market to offer an A and B energy rating (following new regulation changes in March). “Integrated appliances offer a sleek finish and uninterrupted look,” says

However, the capacity of an integrated laundry appliance is often compromised by the luxury of it being built into the kitchen furniture. And only last month, Whirlpool unveiled brand new integrated washing machines and washer dryers that boast the FreshCare+ system, 6TH SENSE technology and increased capacities. Tim Buszka, Head of Brand and Digital at Whirlpool, says the new


washer dryer is a space-saver to maximise the increasingly compact spaces of modern homes.
