Miele unveils new Experience Centre in Mayfair

Miele has announced the opening of its new Experience Centre in the prestigious area of Mayfair, London, directly opposite The Ritz Hotel. Visitors can explore a wide range of appliances in a setting that emphasises Miele’s commitment to quality, performance, and timeless design. The centre features interactive displays and live cooking that have made Miele a global leader.
“We are incredibly excited to open our newest Miele Experience Centre in Mayfair, a location synonymous with quality, luxury and excellence,” said John Pickering, Managing Director of Miele GB. “This opening is a testament to our commitment to bringing the Miele experience closer to our customers. its centre, managed by Gary Tiernan, is a part of its strategy to create much wider consumer awareness of its brand. Customers will have the opportunity to experience Miele’s full range of appliances, including ovens, coffee machines, vacuum cleaners, and more.
KBBG holds
largest and ‘most successful’
members’ meeting
The Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG), part of DER KREIS, hosted its largest ever Annual Members’ Meeting earlier this month at the National Space Centre in Leicester. The buying group was joined by 29 suppliers
to create a huge exhibition set amongst the galleries in the venue, which provided an exciting atmosphere for KBBG members to explore the opportunities available. “It was great that so many of our suppliers supported the event by showcasing their products, creating a dynamic and vibrant Exhibition Zone,” said Bill Miller, Managing Director of KBBG.
ESF opens entries for Safety Innovation Award 2024
Electrical Safety First (ESF) has announced that entries are now open for its Safety Innovation Award 2024; its annual award celebrates innovative projects and products that protect consumers from electrical hazards. Recognising and rewarding great ideas to help protect consumers against electrical dangers, the annual Safety Innovation Award is free to enter. The project or product doesn’t need to be complete – it can be in the creation or prototype stage. Previous winners include: HobSensus – a
safety device that turns kitchen hobs off when left unattended, E-Bulb – the world’s smallest system that keeps homeowners and landlords up to date with the status of their alarm systems. During the conference, Mr Miller revealed a new supply agreement with one of the UK’s largest kitchen manufacturers, Omega PLC. Another brand new partnership between KBBG and the Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (Kbsa) was also announced on the day. Mr Miller also talked through the advances being made to the
mykitchenspecialist.co.uk website, which was created to support KBBG members achieve more consumer leads. The site members together to form the UK’s leading network of independent kitchen specialists, to help consumers who are planning a kitchen renovation.
