Data from Research and Markets has also shown that customers are also changing in the way they buy products for their homes. More than half of appliances sold in 2021 were through store-based retailers. Alongside this, it found that consumers are also looking for trending designs and high-quality standards. “All Bertazzoni appliances fall within the
premium end of the category and we launched a swathe of new products at EuroCucina,” says Maurizio Severgnini, Managing Director of Bertazzoni UK & Eire.
“These included induction hobs with pot detection and setting transfer, built-in ovens with air fryer programmes, new finishes in the Heritage and Modern Series and auto-dose dishwashers.” The company says that growth in demand for induction technology has led to much product development, particularly for hobs and cooktops with integrated extraction. Appliances such as its three-in-one Air-Tec cooker includes an oven, hob and extractor, which enables more flexibility with overhead cabinetry.

They provide retailers with the ideal opportunity to talk through whilst giving examples of how these selling points have been executed.
