Also utilising the Vidaa platform with access

to core smart entertainment apps, the C1 Smart Projector is one of the world’s first mini projectors equipped with Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG technologies. Smart and sophisticated Premium German AV brand, Loewe, recently unveiled its new inspire Ultra HD OLED TV (pictured right) – boasting that it “hails a new dawn for home entertainment”.

Not only can viewers experience Ultra HD

resolution and a full range of HDR formats including Dolby Vision, but its user-friendly operating system, os8, offers instant access to a world of streaming and on-demand services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Apple tv+ and more, at the touch of a button, or via the built-in microphone on the remote. The Loewe inspire 55 and 65-inch models

are available now, while 48 and 77-inch models will come in September. Part of Samsung’s 2024 TV line-up, its Neo QLED 8K QN900D is one of the leading models. In an attempt to streamline the home TV experience, the brand’s Tizen operating system (below) offers a personalised service based on different user accounts set up on the TV. Different members of each household can set up their own profile for customised recommendations and a more personalised overall experience.

The company has improved its Samsung Daily+ family hub to now provide a wide range of services and features – from personal training (pictured above right) to video calls and remote PC solutions in one single interface. There’s the Workout Tracker feature, which

puts real-time exercise data on top of users’ content on Samsung screens, while TechnoGym enhances home workouts with fitness and wellness videos from world-class instructors, and FlexIt includes live one-on-one sessions with top fitness and wellness professionals. Elsewhere, Bolton-based Mitchell & Brown has launched a new 60-inch UHD 4K smart TV – the JB-60CU1811, which comes with a two-year guarantee. The brand says this offers “a winning opportunity” for retailers during this British Summer of sport… “This new 60-inch model [right] represents a significant milestone for us as we aim to provide high-quality products at even more competitive prices,” Dan Brown, Operations Director at Mitchell & Brown, tells ERT. “We understand the importance of affordability, so retailers now have the opportunity to offer

a premium brand TV and viewing experience without compromising on quality, all while staying competitive in the market.” The new model comes with a full suite of smart features and apps based on M&B’s ultra-slick WEB-OS. With built-in Wi-Fi and a user-friendly interface, viewers can easily access their favourite streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and BBC iPlayer. With so much content available on our TV

screens indoors, will there be any time left to enjoy the great outdoors this Summer?!

More than just a TV But more than just being a goggle-box, Samsung says it wants to position its TVs at the centre of the home so users can reap the benefits of the latest innovations and enjoy seamless connectivity between devices in their day-to-day life.
