WHEN I visited this store I was looking to buy a new TV. Inside the store, Ed greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I said that I was looking for a TV for my bedroom and he asked what size of TV would best suit my needs. I said 40-inch would be the biggest that I’d consider. Ed showed me a 40-inch JVC model (LT- 40C890), which was priced at £349. He mentioned that this was a 4K set and that the HDR provides superb detail and brilliant colours, and that a 43- inch LG set had just been reduced in price and he encouraged me to look at that model. This model (43UM7450PLA) was priced at £349. He said the model was a 4K HDR LED TV with Google Assistant.
Ed then mentioned a six-month buy now, pay later promotion and he explained how to apply for it. He also gave me a Repair & Support Plan leafl et, advising me of the three and fi ve years of cover.

Haywards Heath THIS store is located in the town’s secondary shopping area. I was looking to fi nd out more about Sonos. Inside the store, I was approached by Mark; I told him that I had seen Sonos advertised on TV and wanted to know more. He said that all Sonos speakers are connected via a mesh network and can be controlled by smartphones and tablets.
Mark said that Sonos works seamlessly with music services, including Amazon Music, Spotify and Apple Music. He showed and demonstrated the Sonos One, which was available with and without voice activation from Google Assist and Amazon Alexa, priced at £179 and £199 respectively.
I asked Mark how straightforward Sonos is to set-up. He said that Sonos could be set-up via Amazon Alexa, or by downloading the Sonos app, which, he said, offers step-by-step guidance and details on how to link to music streaming services.
Albion Way, Horsham OPENED in June 2015, this 43,000sq ft store is located alongside a Waitrose store in Horsham. I was looking to buy a washing machine. Inside
the store, I counted that there were 21 on display. My fi rst impression of the department was not good as a cardboard box and sheets of paper had been left on the machines.
After a couple minutes of browsing, I was
approached by Holly. She presented two machines. The fi rst model was from Miele (WWE760), which was priced at £1,099. She explained that this model features TwinDos technology and she explained how it works in a simple, yet effective way. The second model was from Bosch
(WAT286H0GB), which was priced at £699. She said that this model has a similar automatic dosing function, iDos. Holly also mentioned that this model comes with ‘£100 worth of Rewards’ and she said that I could claim an extra three-year-guarantee at no extra cost, which would give me fi ve year’s cover.
Holly added that while delivery would be free, it would cost £20 to dispose of our old appliance and an extra £25 to have the new appliance installed.

Road, Haywards Heath THIS store moved to this primary location a few years ago, having fi rst been established on Sussex Road.
I was looking to buy a single oven. Inside the
store, I was greeted by Jack. He asked if I needed any help. He showed me two ovens; the fi rst was a model from Blomberg (BEO9566Z), which was priced at £299.99. He said that this model comes with a three-year warranty. The second product Jack presented was from
Neff (H2265B), which was priced at £599.99. He demonstrated that this is a Slide & Hide model from Neff, and he added that it features a 76-litre capacity and stay clean liners. Jack said that
the store delivers free of charge in the local area and that if I wanted to proceed with the purchase, I could place the order online or in-store, with delivery within three days.
Jack was on good form. He gave good advice on the two products and he volunteered the information about delivery. The only thing
lacking was an attempt to close the sale. The store was well
