AND FINALLY MaddiesDay 2024
The building materials sector turned yellow on September 20th - MaddiesDay - to raise money for, and awareness of, the Maddie Rose Campaign.
Among the initiatives were a team from specialist civils merchant Keyline, who took to the streets of London on September 20 for a very special game of Monopoly. The team, dressed in the bright yellow colours of the Maddie Rose Campaign, visited - in real life - every single site on the original Monopoly Board, and took photos at each stop. They managed over 40,000 steps and raised over £10,000. Paul Pamment, membership
development director at h&B group cut off his trademark long hair in aid of the campaign, Marsh Industries installed a very special yellow septic tank, and the Walsall Wheelbarrow Company developed a bright yellow wheelbarrrow, and conducted races through the carpark the morning after the BMF Members Day Awards and Conference.
All across the industry’s social media, there were pictures of people donning their best yellow attire, and celebrating the life of Maddie Rose, whose favourite colour was yellow. To check out the efforts, search LinkedIn for #maddiesday
