4. CKI teams up with Jokari Carl Kammerling International has partnered with the German brand Jokari, known for its range of professional tools for stripping wires and cables. The range includes bestsellers such as the Jokari Cable Knife System (T)70000 which features an intelligent bracket change system to tackle the stripping of all common cable types (from 4-70mm) in one efficient tool. The range also includes the lightweight and hardwearing Jokari PV-Strip Pro (T)30199, designed to strip solar cables with ease – catering to the growing demand for solar panels.


2 2. Knightsbridge LED battens


Knightsbridge’s range of interior LED battens come in three sizes (4’, 5’, and 6’ lengths). The range offers three colour temperatures – 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, and 5700K daylight. The standard model, BATSCW, has a range of wattage from 18W to 52W according to length: 4’ – 18/32W, 5’ – 22/41W and 6’ – 27/52W. The BATSCWM model incorporates a microwave presence sensor that detects movement within a 150o angle when wall-mounted and 360o degrees if ceiling-mounted. Its range is up to 6m when mounted at a height of 3m. The BATSCDA option incorporates both a microwave sensor for presence detection and a Digital Addressable Interface which enables it to be connected to networked building control systems. Its wattages are fixed at 32, 40 and 48W in the 4’, 5’ and 6’ lengths respectively. The battens have push-fit loop in-loop out terminals and hinged gear trays for a quick setup.

5. Bartoline expands 1876 OTC range


Bartoline has added a further 27 SKUs to its 1876 The Professional Range.


The range now features 59 SKUs, covering interior and exterior fillers, powdered and ready-mix, white spirits, plaster skim, wallpaper adhesives, caulk and sanitary and frame sealants. The expansion also adds extra pack sizes to some existing products. Two broad wall repair products – a leveller for small imperfections up to 2mm, and a smoother for surfaces with deeper imperfections up to 5mm – have also been added. The pair will be quick and easy to use smoothing solutions and in effect, targeted for decorators without the requirement of sourcing a plasterer.
