he past two years have seen business boom for decking manufacturers and installers, as homeowners and hospitality businesses decided to invest in
their outdoor space.
Britain is a nation of garden-lovers, and composite decking in particular continues to
offer a low-maintenance option for those who want to enjoy the great outdoors without having to spend hours on keeping their garden in tip-top condition.
However, the popularity of composite decking has also caused the proliferation of some low cost and low-quality options – so merchants and installers need to make sure
they know the difference between a deck that’s built to last and one that won’t see out the summer.
