Prolectric has introduced the ‘ProPower 3-Phase’ Solar Hybrid Power unit, a high- performance system that brings 60kw of hybrid (pass-through) power output to worksites, helping to cut carbon emissions and reduce diesel use.
With double the inverter output (30kVA), and 105kWh of battery storage, three times that of the single-phase ProPower, the new ProPower three-phase brings solar hybrid power to sites with much higher power generation needs. It provides greater flexibility to scale sustainable power to suit individual site conditions. The three-phase ProPower can also be connected up with existing diesel generators up to 100kVA to further expand on-site power capacity.

11. Wienerberger’s new roof tile Wienerberger UK and Ireland has launched ‘Sandtoft in-roof Solar’, a brand-new roof tile which provides housebuilders with a seamlessly integrated solar energy source, helping them meet the requirements of recent Part L legislation and future-proofing new homes for the Future Homes Standard 2025. The in-roof integrated panels are applied directly to the roof battens, incorporating an interlocking design to speed up the installation process. The single-lapped panels have also been developed to reflect the aesthetic of a traditional tiled roof and are fully compatible with all clay and concrete tiles.

12. ForgeFix’s new range ForgeFix has launched an Electrical Fixings range in tubs. The range includes Wall Plugs and Screws, Expansion Wall Plugs, Metal Speed Plugs and Flat Twin and Earth Cable Clips. The Wall Plugs and Zinc Plated General-Purpose Twin Thread Screws feature an anti-rotation moulding at the plug head for extra holding power and have a self-locating internal channel for screws. The Expansion Wall Plugs come in quantities of 500 or 1000 and the Metal Speed Plugs come in quantities of 600 with 300 plugs and 300 round head screws.
