PHG CELEBRATES SUPPLIER SUCCESS
PHG Plumbing Heating Group, the premier plumbing, heating and bathroom buying group for the UK hosted the PHG Supplier Awards at Carden Park Hotel in Chester on 23rd May 2024.
THE PHG SUPPLIER Awards celebrate and recognise excellence in the plumbing, heating and bathroom industry. 263 guests from the plumbing, heating and bathroom sector attended the event, including 196 supplier
representatives joined by 67 PHG representatives. The event is one of the largest independent gatherings of plumbing, heating & bathroom suppliers and in- dependent merchants in the industry. PHG now has 14 members operating out of 355 branches in the UK. The awards were presented by Cally Beaton - Comedian, Podcaster & Host. These included the following categories: ¡ PHG Plumbing Supplier of the Year - the nominees were Embrass Peerless, Intatec, RWC, Siamp and Viva Sanitary. ¡ PHG Heating Supplier of the Year - the nominees were Adey, Ideal Heating, Resideo, Stelrad and Worcester Bosch. ¡ PHG Bathroom Supplier of the Year - the nominees were Aqualla, Bathroom Brands/Crosswater, Ideal Standard, Merlyn, Roman and Roper Rhodes. ¡ PHG Instinct Plumbing & Heating Supplier of the Year - the nominees were Gledhill, Ideal Heating, Intatec and Scalemaster.

As part of the celebrations, guests were able to take part in a Trackmaster Day at Oulton Park Circuit or play in a golf competition at Carden Park during the day. Other activities included, duck herding, falconry, archery, clay pigeon shooting and access to the spa. This was followed by an Awards Dinner at the Carden Park Hotel in the evening, which included a speech from David Pochin, Chairman at PHG and an Awards Ceremony. To conclude the evening, stand-up comedian Cally Beaton entertained the audience.
