COMBILIFT PREMIERES NEW PRODUCTS
To celebrate its 25th C anniversary, forklift manufacturer Combilift has launched two new products.
ombilift’s new electric model, the COMBI-CUBE has been designed to improve handling procedures and driver comfort. Launched as the
company celebrates its 25-year anniversary, is in a new vibrant green to improve operational visibility, something that has also been improved in the cab, with generous cab- room and all-round visibility. The angle of the telescopic steering column can be adjusted and the Grammer MSG65 seat, combined with hydraulic cabin mounts guarantees a comfortable ride. An adjustable arm rest is mounted to the seat suspension which incorporates a multi-function joystick and an LCD colour touch screen.
Combilift’s dynamic 360 steering enables seamless directional change while on the move can be integrated into the Combi-CUBE as an optional extra, making it the most manoeuvrable counterbalance forklift on the market.
There’s a large rear wheel and rubber tyres on all three wheels, so the model is not restricted to super flat floors and is suitable for working indoors and out, ensuring that semi-rough terrain is no impediment to reliable operation. And for quicker battery changeover during heavy shifts, there are two new easy- change roll-out batteries.
Combilift CEO and co-founder, Martin
McVicar, said: “Our engineers and R&D department have been tirelessly preparing for a year of new launches, and the Combi-CUBE is proof of our continued commitment to provide the best and most innovative handling solutions for our worldwide customers.” The new Combi-CB70E extends the Combilift range of electric models improving performance, battery life and ergonomics. This model is the shortest 7t capacity counterbalance truck on the market whilst also benefitting from multidirectional ability, enabling the versatile space saving handling of both long and bulky loads.
Design features such as its large super- elastic tyres and compact wheelbase make it ideally suited for the operational demands of the timber industry. With a 7,000kg/15,500lb lift capacity, this model benefits from an impressively small footprint as well as exceptional manoeuvrability meaning that it can easily move bulky loads of timber around in confined spaces.
Features in the spacious cab include generous glazing for excellent all-round visibility, the tilting steering column, hydraulic steering and the Grammer MSG65 seat. It’s also one of the smoothest-possible rides over uneven or less than perfect ground conditions, thanks to the gas strut suspension cab, which uses components such as those found in large
TOYOTA UPDATES AND EXTENDS ITS VNA RANGE

oyota Material Handling is launching two new Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) truck models: the newest models in the VCE-series offer high-standards of quality and performance to fit every operation’s needs. Additionally, a revised Toyota BT Vector VCE150A model comes with an improved and updated ergonomic operator compartment, including intuitive controls and interactive colour touchscreen. The introduction of two low tonnage models – the Toyota BT Vector VCE100A and VCE120A – and the VCE150A with its
upgraded driver compartment, means Toyota customers can choose the Very
Narrow Aisle truck that best suits their needs from a choice of man-up or man-down versions with a fixed or articulated chassis. Equipped with articulated steering, the trucks can reach more pallet locations and demonstrate excellent manoeuvrability. The four-wheeled chassis with Quadset support wheels gives the truck optimised stability and
scale industrial machinery with cab suspension, and the super-elastic tyres. The new Auto Swivel Seat automatically engages and swivels the seat and armrest 15° to the right or left to accord with the direction of travel selected by the operator - reducing driver strain, particularly when travelling in reverse. The truck also features Combilift’s internationally patented and Red Dot awarded independent electric traction which provides all front and rear drive wheels with 100% traction control. This negates the need for differential lock on slippery surfaces and significantly reduces long load momentum twisting when travelling sideways. Each electric drive incorporates parking and regenerative dynamic braking for power efficiency. Roll-out access for major electrical components also simplifies maintenance tasks. McVicar said: “The increased capacities that we are offering in our electric range will answer the demand for ever more powerful products which at the same time help companies to achieve their aims for more sustainable operations. We are confident that this model will be a popular addition to our portfolio for many industry applications.” BMJ •

ensures the operator experiences a smoother ride, while powerful twin drive units and low truck weight reduce cycle times. For a better driving experience, the Toyota BT Vector VCE150A’s driver compartment has been optimised. Brand-new controls and a colour touchscreen display make steering the trucks much easier. Operators have critical information and programmable functions readily available at-a-glance and integrated pre-op checks and smart access provide an easy and safe start-up. Situation based information is collected to boost productivity and guarantee safe operation.
A more compact driver compartment allows operators to get on and off the truck simply and safely and means operators can work in an upright position if they desire. BMJ
