Kingspan launches A1-rated flat roof insulation Kingspan Insulation has introduced K-Roc Flat Roof Slab 70/039, a Euroclass A1 rated insulation slab that is fully compatible with most mechanically fixed single-ply waterproofing systems. The rock mineral fibre insulation has a thermal conductivity of 0.039 W/ mK and is available through specialist insulation distributors and selected roofing merchants across Great Britain. The product can be installed above new or existing metal, concrete and plywood decks and is compatible with most green roof systems. Its A1 Euroclass reaction to fire performance has been assessed under Assessment and Verification of Constancy of Performance (AVCP) System 1.
