BMF Picks up 3 x AEA Awards INDUSTRY

The BMF (Builders Merchants Federation) secured three prestigious prizes at the recent Association Excellence Awards 2024. The building materials trade body won the Best Member Engagement Award and the Silver Award for Best Membership Support. The BMFs CEO, John Newcomb also received the Bronze Association Leadership Award for organisations with up to 2000 members.


The Association Excellence Awards acknowledge and reward best practice and excellence in the essential work that associations, trade bodies, unions and professional organisations conduct on behalf of their members.

This updated version builds on the initial success of the standardised product data template and continues to drive efficiencies and data standardisation within the building materials industry. The core template has been updated with some key improvements:


• The original template has been improved by taking into consideration feedback since its launch


• It now offers better integration with buying groups • Use of “list of values” to improve data consistency on some attributes
