BATHROOMS
Whereas, longevity- value for money and multi- generational living are the key drivers for wet rooms. Those buying a long-term family home look to bathrooms with the abilities to adapt to the needs of the future as well as the present. This doesn’t however mean that the two trends may not combine, especially as Generation Z age and future digital generations with their future expectations move into the bathroom. Mira is investing in the future of digital innovation as part of their commitment to ‘better by design’.
Digitisation
“Mira Mode is the latest addition to the digital shower range; uniquely designed and precision engineered to make a statement in a contemporary bathroom. It’s been designed with Generation Z in mind. The shower is easy to use with an intuitive push button operation for the deluge head, handset and bath fill options. The Mode also offers a welcoming warm-up mode which means your digital shower will pre-heat the water to your ideal temperature.”

With the Mira Mode App, users can personalise their shower to suit their individual needs, temperature and duration of the shower. The app also allows you to remotely turn the shower on and off and create up to ten pre-sets, tailored to the whole family.
“The app also has some handy installer features, including configuring the water outlets and setting or adjusting the maximum temperature.”
Mira’s Installer Club is also available to give professionals a wealth of free support and information, including a dedicated discussion and uestion forum. “An understanding of the many benefits of digital showers allows merchants to upsell from mixer showers;” says Baker “They can also see in the advantages of a wet room. Digital showers will continue to be a key trend for consumers and a major focus for Mira Showers and our research and development team.”
