comment Launch of INDX Home

Associated Independent Stores (AIS), one of the leading buying groups for independent retailers has announced the extension of their INDX trade show branding to include Furniture, Housewares, Linens and Gift Food under the banner of INDX Home.

I

NDX (short for Independent Exhibitions) represents a group of unique trade shows, specifically curated for buyers in the Independent Retail sector. The new INDX Home trade shows will sit alongside the well-established INDX Fashion trade shows, which include Menswear, Womenswear, Kidswear, Accessories and Intimate Apparel and can all be found on the new website www.indxshows.co.uk All INDX trade shows take place at AIS’ own purpose-built conference and event centre, located at Cranmore Park in Solihull, conveniently located close to the M42. With free admission and free on-site parking for visitors, INDX is committed to meeting the diverse requirements of independent retailers, showcasing the latest products at seasonal trade shows open to both AIS members and independent trade buyers. Julian Cox, Director of Furniture and Home

says: “We’re looking forward to bringing suppliers and retail buyers together once again at Cranmore Park and are delighted that the AIS Furniture, Housewares, Linens and Gift Food shows will be brought together under the AIS sub brand of INDX Home. The INDX brand represents unique trade shows focussed on Independent Retailers and is well established for the AIS Fashion trade shows, so we’re delighted to become part of the INDX family.” The first INDX Home trade show will be INDX Housewares, taking place on 12-13 July and registration is now open. Jane Bartlett, Head of Events says: “It’s been amazing to see the huge appetite amongst exhibitors to experience the buzz of a live event and reconnect with customers in a face-to-face environment and we can’t wait to be hosting shows at Cranmore Park once again. We will of course be rigorously following Covid guidelines prevailing at the time of these events for the safety and confidence of visitors, exhibitors and employees.”. AIS is the largest independent non-food buying group of its type in the UK and Ireland. With 300 members, all independent retailers of varying sizes, and with a combined turnover in excess of £2million in 2019, its mission is to increase its members profitability – through collective buying power, access to major brands, own brands and exclusives, an efficient central payment facility and expert advice. The summer edition of INDX Housewares (formerly The Housewares Show) will be taking place on 12-13 July at Cranmore Park Exhibition Centre in Solihull. Attracting a loyal footfall of buyers from
