Captivate Brands: Navigating a Challenging Year with Exciting New Offerings for this festive

s we approach the end of 2025, the UK economy is navigating
a complex landscape characterised by a mix of challenges, with key issues including persistent and uncertainty surrounding with discussions of potential tax increases. But amid all this uncertainty, history shows that the housewares sector can thrive even in the toughest of times. Consumer demand for quality products remains steady, and innovation continues to drive interest – seizing every opportunity is essential for growth and resilience. At Captivate Brands we believe that each challenge we are faced with can also bring new avenues for innovation and improvement. As our retail partners now enter into their peak trading period,
we recognise the importance of the Christmas season and have strategically positioned ourselves to support our retail partners through innovation and quality product offerings. Our Cath Kidston 2025 Christmas range has captured the festive spirit but has also met the evolving tastes of shoppers looking for unique and charming products. Additionally, we are thrilled with the timely introduction of our new licensing partnership with Orla Kiely, just in time for the Christmas
rush. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with pre-orders exceeding our expectations. In fact, the demand has been so strong that we’ve had to place two additional back-to-back orders to ensure we can meet the needs of our retail partners as we head into 2026. As we come towards the end of another busy and successful year for
Captivate Brands, our focus now has turned to the next round of trade shows starting February 2026, where we will once again be exhibiting at Spring fair NEC, Ambiente in Germany and the Index trade show in Solihull.
In the last issue I looked at whether trade shows were becoming a thing of the past. I have no doubt the important role trade shows have played in the rapid growth at Captivate Brands over the past 5 years and we continue to support them through 2026. With 2 exciting new licenses launching in Spring 2026 (watch this space!! ) and with over 250 new products to add to our impressive growing portfolio of leading brands, we welcome you all to visit us at any of our up-and-coming shows.
