and contamination control technology with the announcement that it can now supply high quality spares, contact cleaning rollers and consumables for many other makes of contact cleaner, regardless of age. Contact cleaning machines are used

across a wide range of industries including electronics, labels, printing, glass, cleanrooms and converting to remove contamination down to the micron level to improve performance, increase yields and reduce waste. David Westwood, sales and marketing manager at KSM Superclean says: “By supplying spare parts, rollers and

SM Superclean has cemented its position as a leader in high performance contact cleaning

consumables for many other makes of contact cleaner including our own make, companies can extend the life of their equipment and be assured it is operating

at optimal efficiency by restoring equipment to ‘like new condition'. We have over 20 years experience in the contact cleaning field so we have an intimate understanding of the applications and processes where our rollers are used. The surface of the contact cleaning roller is crucial to their performance so all our rollers are engineered to the most exacting quality standards to guarantee maximum efficiency when removing contamination.” KSM has also introduced a roller

re-coating and regrinding service which means that the life of existing rollers can be extended and costs reduced as the original shaft and fittings can be re-used. solutions/ ksm-superclean

Fraser launches world’s smallest 24V DC static elimination bar

LAPAK has upgraded its Vision2000 vision and counting platform with new

laser height detection capabilities and design features that allow easier access for maintenance. The Vision2000 uses advanced line scan camera technology to count and feed baked goods into the infeed of a VFFS machine at high speed. The system can also be supplied with a quality control module - an option that is proving increasingly popular with ILAPAK’s bakery industry customers. This module uses a powerful camera to screen the product flow for deformed or damaged products such as bent and broken baguettes

by performing surface and length/width checks. And now, ILAPAK has further advanced the Vision2000’s quality control capabilities, introducing integrated laser height detection as an option. “We are seeing increasing interest

from our bakery industry customers in harnessing vision technology for quality control as they see that the benefits stretch beyond identifying out-of-spec product. Laser height detection, for example, acts as a quality control tool for upstream production, highlighting issues,” says Björn Brandt, product manager, counting and feeding solutions, at ILAPAK.

tatic control specialist Fraser Anti-Static Techniques has taken close-range static elimination to a new level with the launch of the 3024 Compact 24V DC ionising bar.

The world’s smallest static elimination bar of its type, the powerful

3024 Compact is available at just 150mm or 200mm lengths to meet the requirements of high-performance machinery where space is constrained. They are the only bars available with built-in electronics at this scale and require only a low voltage 24DC input to deliver high voltage static elimination – up to 7.5kV integrated in the bar. Fraser Anti-Static Techniques CEO, Bruce Clothier, said: “The unique

3024 Compact is the smallest 24V DC static elimination bar available on the market today with built-in electronics and integrated remote monitoring capability. Developed in direct response to global OEM and machinery operator demand, it is the first of several planned additions to our increasingly popular 3024 family of short and long range static eliminators. Drawing upon our experience as providers of the widest choice of 24V DC anti-static bars in the marketplace, we’ve ensured the 3024 Compact delivers 100 per cent ionisation coverage across the entire length of the bar.” Fraser is leading product development in electrostatic control

technology, and the 3024 Compact meets the need for powerful static elimination in the confined spaces common with modern space- efficient, high-performance production machinery.
