The deadline for The Vendies 2023, February 28, is fast approaching so now is the time to get your submissions together to avoid missing the chance of winning a coveted industry award. The event will be held on June 7 at the


exclusive Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, London, for the second year running. These awards will continue its longstanding


tradition of recognising and rewarding companies and individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the trade. Whether you are an operator or supplier to vending market, there are plenty of categories to enter or nominate in.


This year The Vendies have introduced two brand new categories: Our first new category is Rising star! This award goes to a young professional who has had a significant and invaluable impact for their employer through exceeding targets or customer recognition and has established themselves as an important team member. Nominations will be open to candidates under the age of 30. Please supply a short write up in support of the nomination. Our second new category is Woman


of the Year! This award goes to the businesswoman who has gained industry- wide respect for her work in the vending sector. Nominees will display strong leadership qualities, be known to advocate for the industry, hold strong business principles and contribute to the raising of standards. Please supply a short write up in support of the nomination.

How it works for 2023 The winners of a The Vendies awards will be determined by an expert industry judging panel. Each entry will be reviewed by the judges in accordance with a strict set of criteria to determine the winners in each category. We are pleased to announce, all last


year’s judges will return to the panel. They include, Vendex director Phil


Reynolds, General Manager of the Water Dispenser & Hydration Association Phillipa Atkinson-Clow, Director General of the European Vending & Coffee Service Association Erwin Wetzel and Business Manager for NIVO Group Michelle Hefferon. To enter or nominate, it couldn’t be any


easier, just follow our three simple steps: 1) Pick your category you wish to shine in; 2) Put together a short statement explaining why you or the company/individual you are nominating deserve to win;


3) Submit your entry using our easy online portal.
